Spring 2024 tree planting

This year EETAB is delighted to report a highly productive street tree planting season. We have worked closely with residents to support the planting of over 30 street trees throughout the borough.

We are also excited to report on the highly successful planting effort on the Downs Road Estate, where 16 out of the 17 trees requested by residents have now been planted.

Over 130 new trees in the borough

Surrey County Council have also planted additional trees at locations beyond those requested by EETAB members. Furthermore, approximately 80 stumps have been removed, with plans to replant where possible.

This brings the total to about 130 new street trees in Epsom & Ewell this year.

All trees requested by TAB have been planted, with SCC on track to complete their planting by the end of March.
